I left these soaps in the mould a day longer than usual… I have had mixed success getting them out smoothly.
Today most came out almost perfectly! Winning!
I got the pesto made. In fact, I did two batches!
The kitchen smelled fabulous while the garlic was baking!
Other tasks on my list included picking raspberries and snow peas.
Got to get an early night – we have a bit of a drive planned and a new hike in mind.
First I have to remember to go out and turn off the water! Corn will be soggy by now!

you bake the garlic first before making the pesto? most recipes use the raw garlic clove.
Yes – the recipe I found called for the garlic to be baked… and because I am a big fan of pretty much all veggies baked I went with it! Makes the house smell amazing 🙂
