Back to the Garden

Such a lovely sunny day! Perfect to get back into the garden.
Love it that my sister brought her gardening clothes in case of such emergencies! haha

So much to do everywhere!! Just tried to make a start in the old potato patch – hopefully get some winter veggies into the ground soon

Weeds making seeds everywhere

I think Rosemary did most of the work 🙂 Looks amazing now!

Zucchinis still looking happy

Time for the fun part – picking and digging stuff!

Lunch was nice – home grown tomato, beetroot and home made relish – all enjoyed in the sunshine on the back veranda

Hope your day was lovely too!

Cheers!

A happy traveller through life! Right now living in NW Tasmania with a gorgeous Nurse-Husband, a fool of a Siamese Cat and several chickens. We love our fairly simple lifestyle of growing a lot of what we eat and enjoying the stunning surrounds of our little patch.

  1. That beet was amazingly large! We just say beet here in the states. I always enjoy your posts. Especially those about Ruby. What a gem she is!! Lucky girl to have such a dear and lovely friend!

My sisters and I always travel to each other’s houses with garden clothes and shoes! Many hands make the work lighter and we get to visit and catch up with each other’s lives!

    1. I always thought when I read about ‘beets’ that they were totally different vegetables!! Just that language barrier again.
We went and saw Ruby yesterday for a catch up and cuppa – I am totally overdue for doing a post on her, I know! She has some of her family up for Easter which is lovely.

Thats great that your sisters and you do the same thing with the gardening! Thats so cool!
