Soapy Stuff

Hi there!
Just some soap updates.
This stripey one was a bit of fun!

I really love doing this swirl thingy

The bottom

And the cut…

This one failed. Well… failed the bit I wanted to do. The thin black line was supposed to be more defined and certainly not smudged !! Oh well.
I am not fond of this fragrance either… ‘Alpine Fresh’ Its a bit harsh on my nose. Not often I am ‘meh’ about a fragrance, but not one I would get again.

I liked the blue effects though.

The leftover colours mixed into dragonflies or celtic knots I am liking too!

The back turned out a bit wild. πŸ™‚

And another swirl… this time I used a chopstick instead of a paddlepop stick – more delicate pattern.

Thats about it on the new soap front!
Hope everyone is doing well – I’ve enjoyed hearing snippets of whats happening in your local area.
I did what I am hoping is my last shop for a while today… although I still need to post the last of the boxes before the weekend.
Then I could REALLY go all out and clean the house.
I think I get lazier about getting to that because I know people aren’t going to just drop in like usual haha.
Oh we have to take the silver linings where we can!
Cheers!

  1. the celtic knot ones really appeal to me! I love those colors together. the yellow is so nice and sunny.

    1. Thanks Lee! The design is great and it seemed to be quite popular when I had it at the markets. Now got to fine tune this mixed colour thing. πŸ™‚

  2. I personally love the blue ones that you weren’t too crazy about! It reminds me of the beach… water, sand, and cloudy sky! The dragonfly ones are gorgeous with the mixed color bits!!

    1. Thanks so much! I did like the colour effect – a pity the fragrance was not to my taste (and the dragged black line)
I’ll experiment more with that in the future!
Oooo yes, I am loving those colourful dragonfly ones too! I bet once I can have a stall again people will be keen!
      have a lovely day!
